About

I’ve regularly listened to music from the age of 4, and spent countless afternoons listening to the UK Top 40 show on Radio 1. This probably explains why music is a big part of me, and why I know the artist and title of so many tunes!

In 2000 I got my first set of turntables, and began mobile DJing at school events, anniversaries and 18th birthday bashes. I realised how much fun it all was, and the work kept on coming!

When I headed to uni in 2002, things really took off. DJing alongside a friend at one of the quietest nights of the week at our Student Union in Birmingham, our persistence with our loyal crowd of tens paid off as we scored the Friday night gig – the busiest night! We held that gig till we finished our TV production course in 2005.

A real highlight for working for the SU was DJing at a Fresher's event to a completely full Main Room at Air Birmingham (previously known as Code).

After I finished my TV course, I did a stint as a techhie at a TV shopping channel, and then followed that with a four month break to do a bit of travelling around Australia, Fiji and the US, which was an amazing experience! I then returned to my home town of Blackpool. Soon after that, I was asked back to do the SU gig every Friday.

Since then, I have been working around the North West where I currently have weekend residencies in Lancaster and Preston. That's the last few years neatly summed up... and as they say, to be continued!
